"I’ll start this off by saying, that you’ve found your photographer. If you’ve landed here to check her out, you don’t need to keep searching; you’ve found her. When my (then) fiancé and I started looking for a photographer, we came across Maigan in the “early stages” of exploration. Looking back on that now, we couldn’t be more grateful, and we realize just how lucky were were to come across such an amazing woman with a simple “wedding photographer London” Google search. "We cannot speak highly enough of our wedding photographer Maigan. When we chose to get married in Italy, we knew we needed a photographer that would capture every detail. It can be stressful to have a destination wedding, and the last thing we needed was to be worrying about the quality of the photography. It would be a big shame to go all the way to Italy, and come back with poor wedding photos. So we scrolled through countless local Italian photographer portfolios and nothing felt right. Maigan also had great suggestions for florals and knows what is current and fashionable. There were multiple interesting location and lighting challenges that Maigan flawlessly met and knocked out of the park. Also, keep in mind that your photographer ends up spending the most time with you on your wedding day. Maigan is energetic, fun and organized. I was incredibly happy and at ease having her there.  Also, Maigan suggested we do a "day after shoot" to capture a few more locations with just my husband and I. We’re so glad we said yes! Maigan and her second shooter scouted out multiple locations for our wedding day and for the day after shoot in a completely different town. When we received our wedding photographs we were thrilled. The candid and formal shots had a grace and sense of ease to them all. There were also gorgeously detailed shots of important items, and incredible landscape photography. I wanted to have our wedding photos look like they were from a magazine, and they did just that! They went above and beyond to exceeded our expectations.  I wanted to write a thorough review for Maigan, because she truly captured every moment of our day. She made Cody and I, and our entire family so happy! Not only does she have amazing talent, but she’s such a sweet person. She’s energetic and passionate about what she does. It’s so nice to be around someone who enjoys what they are doing, and I think that with her energy and excitement, our photos turned out just that much better. It really felt like we had another friend there with us throughout all of the crazy wedding planning and on the big day. She’s also extremely organized, wants things done a certain way, and if you are Type A just like her, she is the perfect photographer for you. And if you are looking for classic, elegant, amazing quality photos.... you would be crazy not to hire her (that is if you are lucky enough to able to book her!).  Let’s start off with the engagement photos. I was SUPER nervous. Neither Cody or I had done professional photos before, and we had no idea what to expect or how to pose etc. However, she has such an amazing eye for light and nature, that the pictures turned out better then I had ever hoped for. She also was meticulous about poses, and told us exactly what to do, where to go and how to position your body... and because of that we have the most amazing photos, and actually made us look like we knew what we were doing. I am so happy that we decided to do engagement photos, because it really was a great “practice” run for the big day.  Now.  The WEDDING. I LOVE THESE PHOTOS SO MUCH. It’s been a week since I received the album and I still look at them every single day from beginning to end. Maigan seriously went above and beyond to capture every single detail of the day. She was so focused on her work and it is evident if you look through our wedding collection. From start to finish, there is a picture of every single moment. Which I will forever be grateful for, and this is something I will be able to hold onto for the rest of our lives. Maigan would go to lengths to find the perfect shot, whether it be searching on Kijiji for the perfect vintage couch, or suggesting we climb a massive hill. She’s so creative and talented - just listen and do exactly what she says! Going through our album, there was not one photo that I said “oh I don’t like that one”. She made sure that every single picture was perfect. She caught so much emotion throughout the day, and it really just reminded us of how we felt in that moment. My mom cried when she saw the pictures, I went through them for HOURS just smiling, the only problem is ... it’s too hard to pick your favourites. I honestly can’t speak highly enough about her personality, her final product, and professionalism. Our wedding album is something that I’ve never seen before! "Immediately after getting engaged I took to social media scouring through local photographers, I was instantly drawn to the effortless look to Maigan's work, how she pulled out that natural beauty from her couples. She took amazing portrait and candid shots, and always provided great tips and direction to ensure our poses were natural and that we looked our best. All communication prior to both shoots was very timely. We met her twice in person to cover the wedding details and once a week before our wedding at my parents’ house and the reception location to assess exactly which locations would photograph the best based on the lighting conditions at that time of the day. This allowed us to plan our day accordingly and maximized our shooting time on the day of the wedding. Maigan had all edited photos in our possession within a month of our wedding.  I would recommend Maigan to anyone who is looking for a wedding, engagement, family, or any other photographer.
